  Manufactured from high-grade AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel wire with a nominal tensile strength of 1570 MPa, this 9.0mm cable is built to endure intense outdoor weathering, high humidity, and aggressive chemical environments. While SS 304 provides cost-effective durability for standard outdoor conditions, SS 316 incorporates molybdenum for superior protection against pitting and oxidation in saltwater and coastal marine environments.

Type 304 and Type 304L have very similar chemical and mechanical properties andare often included on a single material test certificate when the actual properties ofa stainless steel plate meet the criteria of both types. This is a very commonoccurrence.Type 304L is a variation of Type 304 and has a lower carbon contentwhich improves weld ability and lowers the risk of reduced corrosion resistancearound the weld. Type 304L also has a slightly lower yield and tensile strength thanType 304.
