1. On January 10, 2025, it was reported by JRJ.com that Jiangsu Yongsheng Special Equipment Inspection Co., Ltd. obtained a patent for a "Steel Wire Rope Detection Device" with the authorized announcement number CN222299365U. The application date was in April 2024. This device can effectively prevent the potential threat to the safety of testers caused by the rupture of the steel wire rope.

 

2. JRJ.com reported on January 9, 2025, that Shenzhen Hanghongda Technology Co., Ltd. obtained a patent for an "Intelligent Steel Wire Rope Lock with Separable Lock Rope and Lock Body" with the authorized announcement number CN222295984U. The application date was in April 2024. The intelligent steel wire rope lock can adjust the length of the steel wire rope to meet the needs of different usage scenarios.

 

3.  According to JRJ.com on January 9, 2025, Fujian San Yang Holdings Co., Ltd. obtained a patent for a "Parking Equipment Steel Wire Rope Straightening Device" with the authorized announcement number CN222295867U. The application date was in December 2023. This device can effectively avoid the problem of the loose rope switch false alarm caused by the slack and shaking of the steel wire rope.

1. On January 13, 2025, the bidding results of the 2025 annual framework bidding for steel wire ropes of MCC Steel Structure were publicized on Bidizhaobiao.com. Shanghai Wangshun Wire Rope & Rigging Co., Ltd. was determined as the winning bidder.

 

2. Steel and wire rope manufacturer Usha Martin said on Monday that it will divest its entire stake in joint venture Dove Airlines for Rs 8.10 crore and posted a loss of Rs 36 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal year.

1. Engineers have developed a super-strong carbon fibre rope that promises to more than double the height of the world's tallest skyscrapers by allowing a travel height of one kilometre in elevators.

 

2. In May 2019, Macgregor, part of Cargotec, completed the construction of Fibre Trac, the first fibre-rope offshore crane to enter the market. The crane has a 150-tonne safe working load capacity and features a rope monitoring and management system.
