1. When selecting elevator wire ropes, elevator manufacturing, installation, and maintenance companies should choose products produced by manufacturers with complete qualification certifications, complete equipment and processes, and reliable product quality.
2. When the elevator is running, there is wear and slipping between the elevator wire rope and the traction sheave. It is recommended that you check the following conditions:
(1) Whether the traction sheave and wire rope consistent with the original design are selected;
(2) Review the elevator traction conditions;
(3) Review the shape and wrapping angle of the traction sheave rope groove;
(4) Whether the wire rope grease is appropriate;
(5) Whether the wire rope tension is adjusted consistently;
(6) Whether the steel wire rope is deformed during operation;
(7) Whether the wire rope vibrates in the hoistway;
(8) Whether the guide rails and guide shoes are installed accurately;
(9) Whether the counterweight is appropriate.
Notice:
1. The service life of the elevator wire rope is determined by the sheave material, groove shape, rope winding method and usage environment.
2. For elevators with complex winding methods or without machine rooms or gear transmission, specially designed steel wire ropes should be used.
3. We can provide recommended traction sheaves, rope heads, accessories and special grease that match the steel wire rope.
